Drive to Sossusvlei in the Namib Sand Sea World Heritage site. Situated in the largest conservation area in Africa (the Namib-Naukluft National Park), Sossusvlei is possibly Namibia’s most spectacular and best-known attraction, characterised by the large red dunes, a large, white, salt and clay pan and the dunes are some of the highest in the world, reaching almost 400 meters. 2-night accommodation at Sossusvlei Lodge or similar. Drive to Etosha, where the Etosha Pan is a vast ancient lake turned salt pan that covers around 4,800km², almost a quarter of the park.
