Etosha Wildlife and Nature

3 days 2 nights

The excursion starts in Windhoek, travels north on the B1 road and takes you to one of the 2 main gates of the Etosha National Park, namely Namutoni or Okaukeujo.

Accommodation is inside the park (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) or at any of the available lodges situated outside the gates (such as Mokuti Lodge or Etosha Safari Camp). Staying within the park gives access to night-time game viewing at the waterholes. You will spend 1 full day and 1 half day game driving through Etosha National Park, one of Southern Africas’ best national parks.

  1. Day 1 Departure from destination point e.g. Windhoek

Travel to Etosha Gate of choice (Anderson or Namutoni)
Check-in and choice of activities depending on arrival time, e.g. Sundowner or afternoon game drive.
Lunch en route; Dinner at Lodge

  2. Day 2 Full day game drive through Etosha

Options of (1) game drive at sunrise to catch the predators while they are still active, visiting many waterholes; or (2) a mid-morning game drive to the impressive Etosha Pan; or (3) an afternoon drive visiting waterholes in search of wildlife, especially elephants, rhino and lion. Usually a full day game drive is a combination of these 3 options.
Lunch is served en route at a designated picnic site or one of the resort restaurants, whichever is viable.
Return to accommodation before sunset where dinner is served

  3. Day 3 Return to destination of origin

After breakfast, a short excursion is possible to nearby waterholes in order to catch the last glimpses of wildlife before taking on the return trip.
    Lunch en route.
